Or Is It Gonna Be A Disaster. I Didnt Plan This And Was Gonna Get Her Fixed Soon But Then All This Poped Up. & I Know She Doesnt Have Anything Cause She Is Up To Date on Everything. But Is It Safe For Her To Deliver Or Even possible For These Breds To Actually Make Something?

  1. She can have the puppies, but she will not be a good mother at this young age. She will also be very small compared to what she would have been if she had not carried a litter.  I personally would abort/spay.

She will not die from having these puppies. She will not really even have severe issues longterm other than being much smaller than she would have been without the pregnancy.  She is so young that motherhood will probably not be her strong point, so the puppies may die just because Mom won't be mature enough to care for them well.

See your vet.  Your dog will need extra vitamins during the pregnancy. And she will need to be monitored for her own safety and the safety of the puppies during the pregnancy and birth. If you decide to have these puppies, I would have a surrogate Mom on hand or else be ready to help supplement them yourself.  And above all, feed your dog well.  She is pulling nutrients from her very young body to supply for these puppies.  It is imperative she be on a very good feeding schedule with lots of protein and supplements.

Good luck. Whatever you decide, I hope everything turns out OK for your dog and her babies if you choose to have them. Please see your vet.

  2. what?

  3. NO, it will NOT be safe. PLEASE get her spayed asap. It could kill her!

Whelping a litter is very time consuming and expensive. The pups will probably die, and the mother may too. If you don't get her spayed asap, you may end up spending a ton of money on a litter that doesn't even survive.

  4. at 4 months, she probably isn't pregnant.

Take her to the vet and get off the computer.

  5. First: It is not necessary, and in fact rather annoying, to capitalize every word in a sentence.  Please stop doing that, it makes your writing very hard to follow.

Second: It's 'shepherd' not 'Sheppard.'  If you can't spell the breed of your own dog, you probably shouldn't be breeding her no matter who the sire is.  Please get your dog spayed as soon as possible.

Third: If you're going to ask a question, you should be prepared for any informed and reasonable answer.  And yes, 'get her spayed' and 'she's too young' are not only reasonable but exactly the advice you need to hear.  Rejecting what you don't want to hear is rather childish of you.

Now, with that out of the way: Yes, dogs can go into heat and get pregnant as early as 4 months; it's very rare, and it is far too young to be having a litter.  Therefore, no matter what breed she or the father is, she should not have the puppies.  It's too much of a strain on her system and too much of a risk to her health.  For your dog's sake, please have her checked by a vet.  A spay operation will prevent her from having puppies, whether she's pregnant or not; and if done early, is not any more risky than spaying a non-pregnant dog.

If she were old enough and otherwise in good health, you would not have as much to worry about.  All breeds of dog are capable of interbreeding and producing puppies.  You didn't say what kind of Shepherd she is - there are at least 5 breeds of dogs with that name, the best known being the German Shepherd.  But all of them are larger than Shih Tzus.  As long as the mom is the same size as the father or larger, the odds of having overly large puppies is fairly low.  Even with a larger father and smaller mother, there usually isn't a significant problem.

  6. Hey you don't even know if she is pregnant for she. She needs to be seen by a vet so stop being so bloody stubborn and do so. Secondly yes she she is too young no it not safe for her to have these pups. Get her fixed whether she is pregnant or not. Get your male fixed as well why he's not fixed is beyond me.

It doesn't matter if they can make a litter. She's too young and they will just be mutts who are worth a wooden penny. GET HER FIXED

ADD: its Shih -tzu and Shepherd. God at least learn how to spell their breeds right. sheesh

  7. First of all, please make a proper sentence. You don't capitalize the first letter of every word.

The best thing you can do is see a vet. It's very rare for a dog at four months to get pregnant but you're right, there have been some cases. As for whether it'd be good for your dog at that age to give birth, I can only imagine that it's not. She's too young and most likely cause harm to her or to most of the pups.

    Also, get your dogs spayed.

  8. how many months and what breed?

  9. She could die...her body is not meant to handle pups so young!!

That was difficult to read.... please don't use caps on every word again.

We are just saying the truth...Its like saying a 4yo kid can have baby and make it..it just wont be good!!

  10. is this the 4month old dog-

go to the vet- to confirm if she is expecting

  11. I highly doubt your dog is really pregnant at 4 months.

Make an appt for a spay!  It can be done during an early pregnancy.

Because she's still a puppy, if she is pregnant, it would be very unsafe for her to carry and whelp this litter.  It doesnt matter what breeds either dog is.  She's not done growing or developing.  She's not mature enough to have a litter.  Get her spayed ASAP.

  12. Your best option is to take her to the vet to make sure she is pregnant and voice your concerns to them. They are the ones that will have to monitor her to make sure she is safe not the people on the internet.

  13. You say in your question: " ... But At Months She Has Become Pregnant By A 9 year Old Shitzu.  ..."

You Don't Mention What Breed She Is Or How Many Months Of Age She Is.    If You did, Then I'm Sorry, But I Must Have Missed It Because It Makes It Very Difficult To Read Your Question When You Capitalize The Fist Letter Of Every Word, As I'm Doing .... See?

Please Add Add More Details and Stop Capitalizing The First Letter Of Each Word.

    ADD:

My Response And Your Extra Details Seem To Have Crossed.  At Four Months Old, It's Not Very Likely That She is Pregnant.  You Neeed To Take Her To The Vet To Find Out.  And Please Stop With The Capitals.    See How Difficult It Is To Read.

  14. No it is not safe for her to have these pups, terminate them, she is a baby herself.

  15. Any mixture of breeding is pretty possible. If it has happened just be very careful with her and make sure she has good vet care throughout the pregnancy. Things happen, don't beat yourself up, just take care of her and make sure you find a good home for the pups. Hang in there!

  16. You don't say what breed she is or how old she is. I think you should take her to the vet and get their opinion.

  17. No. Its NOT possible.

She WILL die during the birthing process, probably before that when the puppies become developed enough and begin to "gain" weight.

    Its dangerous.

Have the puppies aborted and her spayed.

  18. ok FOR THE LAST TIME YES THEY CAN MATE AND HAVE PUPPIES!!!! ITS A WEIRD MIX BUT YES THEY CAN!!! AND NO GET THE PUPPIES ABORTED AND GET HER SPAYED!!! THIS IS LIKE YOUR LITTLE 7 YR OLD SISTER HAVING A BABY!! HER BODY IS NOT READY TO CARRY PUPPIES YET. GET OFF YAHOO AND CALL YOUR VET OR TAKE HER IN. YOUR DOG WILL DIE! AND GET THE MALE NUETERED WE DONT NEED ANY MORE BYBS BREEDING CRAPPY PUPS IN THE WORLD
