Is It Safe To Listen To Ipod While Skiing?

i am going on a school snow trip tomorow

and want to no if its safe to listen to my ipod while skiing i have never skiied before

is it safe?

will i get told off by the ppl

Safe? No, but many people do it.  The problem is you can not hear a warning from someone else about any dangers.
