Is It True That Barnes and Noble Mail Books to Prisons for You?

I just heard that barnes and noble mail packages to prisons for you and the inmate you send the package for is allowed to accept it. Is it true???

Yes it is true.

You purchase the books that you wish to send, and Barnes and Noble will ship the books to the prison.

BUT... before you attempt to send the books you MUST make sure that the prison you are sending the books to allow it. Not all prisons allow it.

Someone that I know is in a federal prison. The prison that he is in now allows it. Before he got transfered to the one that he is in now he was in a prison the didn't allow it.

Yes, most prisons require that. They won't let us send books therfore you have to order them and have Barnes and Noble ship them.
