  1. Not really. It's been found to slightly suppress a desire to eat sweets in the short term though though, which worked out to be about 36 Calories less for the gum chewers. It's something, but won't make much of an impact. Whether or not it even makes a long term difference is debatable, and hasn't really been tested.


  2. You wouldn't burn enough calories by chewing gum to actually lose weight. If you could, I think everyone would be a lot skinnier. But I wish it were that easy!

  3. No, it makes you more hungry as you are chewing without swallowing so your stomach is expecting food and when it doesn't recieve any it feels more and more empty.
