  1. For growing people, lifting weights over 75 lbs. is bad. Gained weight from muscle isn't a bad thing.  


  2. Wrong.  Lifting weights won't hurt your spinal cord unless you try to lift more weight than you can handle, dropped suddenly onto your shoulders and it crushes you.

    Lifting weights will cause you to gain weight, but it is muscle weight, which is heavier than fat weight.  Since you are a guy, you have the testosterone which helps you get bulky.  HOWEVER, if you just want to tone, you don't have to bulk up.  Use low weights and high reps.  If you want to bulk up, use high weights and low reps.

  3. It will make you gain weight but muscle.If you have right form then it is not bad and in till you get over 18 don't do any weight you cant lift with good form at least 4 times.
