Is It True That Most Mom&Pop Video Stores Make Most Of Their Income On Adult Videos?

I spoke to a few people I know from the area who own a mom&pop rental. They told me that as a result of NetFlix, people watching movies for free online... that most of the business is dead.

They also said that if it wasn't for the adult video section that they would hardly have any income and that that's what keeps them in business. One even said that if he could make the whole store p**n he would (due to resident zone restrictions he can't)

Is this true for most video places now?

I wasn't aware that any M&P video stores still existed.  With the advances in video on demand, now and anticipated future I don't see anyone in that industry surviving.  Including Blockbuster/Hollywood Video/Netflix.

That being said there is still a segment of the market that do not have access to cable TV and the internet.  I imagine that the M&Ps would have to leverage any product that the corporate giants do not carry.  In this case adult entertainment is that product.

I don't think so there is so much free p**n on the internet why would anybody pay for it
