Is It True That You Can Get Wisdom Teeth When Your 17?

cause i have this pain on the left and right sides of the back of my mouth where they're supposed to be...it really hurts!

And i'm 17...

  2. Yes, I got mine when I was 24, so now I am full of wisdom!

  3. yep, sometimes even earlier especially if they are causing issues such as crowding .   If you need braces, it is common practice to get them out first even if the child is young, so that they do not effect the treatment.

    im 15 and mine are coming through, and they dont even hurt. :D

    But it takes a long time to grow completely.sometimes they hurt other teeth,cas of little space,so some people prefer to visit their dentist & get them out, but I didn't do that.

  13. Yea I have had students get them removed as young as 15, just got my last one in at the age of 28. Wide range. hope you feel better.

  15. well, I got mine at 15, and my fiance's getting his now, at 22, It's usually in your late teens to early 20's in any case, but I would still get it checked out by a dentist. it could be something else like a cavity or abscess. and sometimes your jaw won't be big enough for the extra teeth.

    and believe me , if they start to crush your other teeth it's gonna hurt a lot more.

  17. yes make an appointment at dentist the pain will get worse, they sometimes do it right away.

  18. It is possible, the mean age is 21 (hence calling them wisdom teeth). See your Dentist, there may be an infection there, sometimes when tooth is trying to break through, little bit's of food get caught in between the tooth and the gum. Either way, let the dentist see
