  1. No way..i wouldnt reccomend it.

Even if you do manage to fix it, it will more that likely happen again in the near future!

If microsoft see that you've opened the system the warranty will be void.

Your best bet is to call Microsoft and they'll fix it for ya or even send you a new one.

    Hope this helps.

  2. I would go to the doctors, it could be infected. Until then, have less of the 'bum games'.

  3. Really depends on if your Warranty Sticker is still intact.

If it is still intact then Don't just send to Microsoft, wait 3-4 weeks and you'll get your system back (which the repair is an additional HEAT-SINK which by the way on mine was held on by GLUE!!!)

If your warranty is void (aka broken) then no point sending back to Microsoft as you will get moaned at and CHARGED for a repair which will take once again 3-4 weeks for its return. It is risky to open the Xbox360 and repair yourself, some methods will want you the drill the metal casing and if you put on the screws too tight it still wont work and you can break the Motherboard!

The third option is go on ebay and search "XBox 360 Fix" and find someone who will fix it for you for a small cost. It also doesnt take as long.

  4. Okies.... opening up an 360. This voids warranty.

It not easy to open up a 360 and i wouldn't recommend fixing one unless you are able to fix hardware issues in a computer.

Its best to search xbox support to solve the issue before calling support. If you call support have the console serial number ready (its on the back of the console)

Its better to let microsoft fix it, if its under warranty, otherwise i would just pay $90 (Australian Dollars) to get it repaired by microsoft.

If you could tell me what the problem is, i may be able to tell you how to fix it, saying that your daring enough to repair your own console

  5. Forget it buddy, don't even think about it. Just hand it over to microsoft and i assure you they will do a professional job which includes even replacing the console if it cannot be repaired. And plus don't forget the one month free Xbox live gold membership!!!
