Yes,accourding to professionaly volleyball rules,you are not aloud to touch the net at any time during a game.

If you touch the net, you're suppose to lose the point. Not only that but you cannot make contact with the ball on the other side of the net. Your follow through can go over the net, as long as you hit the ball on your side.
