  1. Lol not exactly

  2. no it still there

  3. It does not stop, the water pressure just does not allow the blood to flow downward freely.  Similar to what happens in the bathtub if you take a bath while on your period.

But to be on the safe side- because all the period needs is some pressure like a cough or sneeze- you should wear a tampon.

  4. not at all... seriously it isn't true.

  5. sort of , your body automatically senses that your under water and will close all holes  on its own including down there. . . . .but its not an airtight seal so always plug it anyway to be on the safe side

  6. I was a competitive swimmer and couldn't miss any practices so whenever I had my period I swam with a pad on, that is SO not true!

  7. no.

  8. no, that is not true

  9. Your gym teacher is only half right. You can go swimming when it's that time of the month--if you wear a tampon or menstrual cup.

Water pressure may keep your flow from coming out while you're in the water, but once you get out of the water and the pressure is released,  it has to go somewhere. Unless you're wearing a tampon or menstrual cup, it could be very messy and embarrassing for you.
