Is Jakob Fuglsang’s time with Team RadioShack-Nissan finished?
Jakob Fuglsang joined the Luxembourg based side, Team RadioShack-Nissan in 2012 after marking his professional debut with Team Saxo Bank earlier in 2009-10 seasons.
He accepted an offer from Team Leopard Trek in 2011 and made it through to the final Team RadioShack-Nissan squad after the two sides announced their merger at the end of 2011 season.
He secured the first overall position at the National Time Trial Championships and also occupied the first overall position at the Tour de Luxembourg 2012.
Fuglsang rode brilliantly during the Tour of Austria and wins the fourth stage of the race including an overall victory at the event.
He was recently seen in action at the Tour de Wallonie and secured a 35th overall position after general classifications.
The Dane made the announcement that the French race was his last appearance with Team RadioShack-Nissan.
The 27-year-old was not picked up by the Luxembourg team in the final Tour de France squad after Team Management raised suspicions on his intentions to leave the team by the end of 2012 season.
Team RadioShack-Nissan made the decision to keep Fuglsang out of all the UCI World Tour events which is the main reason behind his doubts on riding any more events in the remaining part of the year.
"I have no more races in my programme," Fuglsang told Danish newspaper Jyllands-Posten.

"I asked the team if I could ride the Tour of Colorado and some other races in the build up to the World Championships but they haven't responded”.
"At least I can ride the Tour of Denmark with the national team”.
“The coach Lars Bonde emailed me and told me I could have a spot if I was unable to compete for RadioShack".
The Luxembourg team had to face a lot of disappointments in the first half of the season and Jakob’s exit is not just the only one.
Andy Schleck exit from the Tour de France, Frank Schleck positive doping test and Team Manager Johan Bruyneel accused of trafficking and administrating illegal substance have been the only highlights for the side.
It is believed that Jakob might pen a deal with the Danish side, Saxo Bank-Tinkoff Bank to continue his professional pursuit but there are not certainties about the news yet.
