Question:

Is Jesus really God?

Show me one place in the bible where Jesus (peace be upon him) says, I'm God, Worship me?

Also, every single Bible is different, how can you have a true religion where there is no consistency?

If you throw all the bibles in the ocean and destroyed them, no one would be able to rewrite it word, for word, that's how inconsistent the religion is.

But back to the question, where does Jesus say he's God. (DO NOT misinterpret the quotes as well)

  1. Sounds like your Mommy and Daddy are angry people.

You ask for where it says that in the Bible, people tell you, and you're still not happy.

Take a Xanax and calm down, child.

Also, the only version of the Bible that's significantly different is the Catholic Bible, and that's because they have more books in it. The Christian Bible has been translated into every language on earth, so of course there's going to be slight variations within the text you Atheist moron.

  2. John 8:24

I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins.

Jesus actually said unless you believe I AM and the Jews understood that Jesus was using the same name that God used in Exodus 3:14

    Jesus is called GOD!

Isaiah 44:6 Thus saith the LORD the King of Israel, and his

redeemer the LORD of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and

beside me there is no God.

To see this clearly, lets look at another translation:

    Darby Translation

Isaiah 44:6 Thus saith Jehovah, the King of Israel, and his

Redeemer, Jehovah of hosts: I [am] the first, and I [am] the last,

and beside me there is no God

    American Standard Version

Isaiah 44:6 Thus saith Jehovah, the King of Israel, and his

Redeemer, Jehovah of hosts: I am the first, and I am the last; and

besides me there is no God

The redeemer is none other then Jesus and we can see here that He is

    called....Jehovah.

    Thomas declared it:

John 20:28 Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God.

It has been contended that Thomas was using a figure of speech..which

in reality would mean that Thomas used God's name in vain but lets

look at how Jesus responded to this declaration:

29 Jesus saith unto him, Because thou hast seen me, thou hast

believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.

Jesus accepted this...but He went on to tell us that it is more

blessed to believe without having to see. After all, Hebrews 11:6

tells us "But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he

that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder

of them that diligently seek him."

Lets look at a few other comparisons to see who Jesus is:

John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God,

    and the Word was God.

    Compare to:

John 1:41 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we

beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,)

    full of grace and truth.

Colossians 2:9 For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead

bodily. (compare to Colossians 1:15-19 above)

Acts 20:28 Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the

flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed

the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.

Zechariah 14:16 And it shall come to pass, that every one that is

left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up

from year to year to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, and to keep

    the feast of tabernacles.

    Compare to

John 1:49 Nathanael answered and saith unto him, Rabbi, thou art

the Son of God; thou art the King of Israel.

1 Timothy 6:15 Which in his times he shall shew, who is the blessed

    and only Potentate, the King of kings, and Lord of lords;

Zechariah 12:10 And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon

the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of

supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced,

and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and

shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his

    firstborn.

Zechariah 11:12 And I said unto them, If ye think good, give me my

price; and if not, forbear. So they weighed for my price thirty

    pieces of silver.

At this time, I urge each of you to get your Bible and turn to these

verse...remember your basic English and look for the SUBJECT of these

verses..see Who was priced at 30 pieces of silver...and who was

pierced thus showing who shed His blood.

  3. Gee, this question is kinda baffling.  I used to have a classmate in high school who's name was Jesus Gonzales.  But I don't think he was god.

  4. Not in my book.  (literary and figuratively.)

  5. No his Not God Almghty. God cannot Die.Despite what people may say.The Athanasian Creed, which defines the Trinity, says “none is greater or less than another.” Yet John repeatedly records Jesus’ own words showing his submission to the Father. He was “sent” by the Father, assigned works by the Father, told what to do and say by the Father, and said he came not to do his own will “but the will of him that sent [him].”—John 6:38

Its a Religious Dogma that binds people to falsehood.

And Allah is Not the Creator Either.

  11. in my eyes jesus is just some guy who may or may not have existed 2,000 years ago

    im jewish :)

    10 thumbs down?!!?!? wtf!?!?!?!??!

f*****k  you guys i have my rights to wat i believe

  12. No he is not. "ALL along the evidence has been mounting up from John’s own writings that Jesus Christ was the Son of God. This very fact in itself argues that Jesus as a Son was dependent upon God and was not equal to God. A son is not greater than his father, but must honor his father, according to God’s command. As God’s Son, Jesus said: “I honor my Father.” (John 8:49) How, then, can anyone say he was making himself God or the equal of God when he said: “The Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son: that all men should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He that honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father which hath sent him”? (John 5:22, 23, AV) In those words Jesus was not telling us to honor him as being the Father or as being God. He did not say we were to honor the Son as much as the Father.Look at Jesus’ words again and see why he said he was to be honored just as the Father is to be honored. Jesus said that the Father had appointed him to be judge, to act as the deputy or representative of God the Supreme Judge. Hence as God’s appointed Judge the Son deserved to be honored. By honoring the Son we show respect for God’s appointment of the Son as Judge. If we do not honor the Son as Judge, then we do not honor “the Father which hath sent him.” But that does not mean we honor the Son as being God himself or honor the Son as much as God himself, who sent the Son.Even God the Father did not honor or glorify the Son as his equal. But God did honor or glorify his Son Jesus Christ more than all his other sons. Certainly, then, the one whom God honors or glorifies, we too ought to honor. In fact, God requires us to do so. Jesus himself said: “If I honour myself, my honour is nothing: it is my Father that honoureth me; of whom ye say, that he is your God.” (John 8:54, AV) Jesus’ Father was the God of the Jews. They did not consider Jesus to be a God-Man, God himself in the flesh; and Jesus did not pretend to be God. He said that the Deity who the Jews said was their God was the One who honored Jesus. Then Jesus went on to declare he was not as great as God but was greater than Abraham because of having a prehuman existence in heaven." (w62)

  13. Following are verses used to show that Jesus is God in flesh.  The scriptures used here are from the

John 1:1 - "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God."

John 1:14 - "And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth."

John 5:18 - "For this cause therefore the Jews were seeking all the more to kill Him, because He not only was breaking the Sabbath, but also was calling God His own Father, making Himself equal with God."

John 8:24 - "I said therefore to you, that you shall die in your sins; for unless you believe that I am He, you shall die in your sins."

Note:  In the Greek, "He" is not there.

John 8:58 - "Jesus said to them, 'Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was born, I am.'"

Exodus 3:14 - "And God said to Moses, 'I AM WHO I AM'; and He said, Thus you shall say to the sons of Israel, ‘I AM has sent me to you.’"

John 10:30-33 - "I and the Father are one." 31The Jews took up stones again to stone Him. 32Jesus answered them, "I showed you many good works from the Father; for which of them are you stoning Me?" 33The Jews answered Him, "For a good work we do not stone You, but for blasphemy; and because You, being a man, make Yourself out to be God."

John 20:28 - "Thomas answered and said to Him, "My Lord and my God!"

Col. 2:9 - "For in Him all the fullness of Deity dwells in bodily form."

Phil. 2:5-8 - "Have this attitude in yourselves which was also in Christ Jesus, 6who, although He existed in the form of God, did not regard equality with God a thing to be grasped, 7but emptied Himself, taking the form of a bond-servant, and being made in the likeness of men. 8And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross. 9Therefore also God highly exalted Him, and bestowed on Him the name which is above every name, 10that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those who are in heaven, and on earth, and under the earth, 11and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father."

Heb. 1:8 - "But of the Son He says, "Thy throne, O God, is forever and ever, and the righteous scepter is the scepter of His kingdom."

Quoted from Psalm 45:6, "Thy throne, O God, is forever and ever; a  scepter of uprightness is the scepter of Thy kingdom."

Jesus is worshipped - Jesus said to worship God only, yet He receives worship.

Matt. 4:10 - "Then Jesus *said to him, 'Begone, Satan! For it is written, "You shall worship the Lord your God, and serve Him only."’"

Matt. 2:2 - "Where is He who has been born King of the Jews? For we saw His star in the east, and have come to worship Him."

Matt. 2:11 - "And they came into the house and saw the Child with Mary His mother; and they fell down and worshiped Him; and opening their treasures they presented to Him gifts of gold and frankincense and myrrh."

Matt. 14:33 - "And those who were in the boat worshiped Him, saying, "You are certainly God’s Son!"

Matt. 28:9 - "And behold, Jesus met them and greeted them. And they came up and took hold of His feet and worshiped Him."

John 9:35-38 - "Jesus heard that they had put him out; and finding him, He said, "Do you believe in the Son of Man?" 36He answered and said, "And who is He, Lord, that I may believe in Him?" 37Jesus said to him, "You have both seen Him, and He is the one who is talking with you." 38 And he said, "Lord, I believe." And he worshiped Him."

Heb. 1:6 - "And when He again brings the first-born into the world, He says, 'And let all the angels of God worship Him.'"

    Jesus is prayed to

Acts 7:55-60 - "But being full of the Holy Spirit, he gazed intently into heaven and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing at the right hand of God; 56 and he said, "Behold, I see the heavens opened up and the Son of Man standing at the right hand of God." 57But they cried out with a loud voice, and covered their ears, and they rushed upon him with one impulse. 58And when they had driven him out of the city, they began stoning him, and the witnesses laid aside their robes at the feet of a young man named Saul. 59And they went on stoning Stephen as he called upon the Lord and said, "Lord Jesus, receive my spirit!" 60And falling on his knees, he cried out with a loud voice, "Lord, do not hold this sin against them!" And having said this, he fell asleep."

1 Cor. 1:1-2 - "Paul, called as an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, and Sosthenes our brother, 2to the church of God which is at Corinth, to those who have been sanctified in Christ Jesus, saints by calling, with all who in every place call upon the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, their Lord and ours."  (The phrase, "to call upon the name of the Lord" is a phrase used to designate prayer.)

1 Kings 18:24 - "Then you call on the name of your god,

  14. God says that Jesus is His "only begotten Son". So who are you going to believe. God or man? Jesus did not proclaim that He was God. Here is what the religious leaders of that time heard Jesus say.

"Therefore the Jews sought the more to kill him, because he not only had broken the sabbath, but said also that {God was his Father}, making himself equal with God" (John 5:18).

JESUS IS THE SON OF GOD !!!

Who do all of you oneness people think takes the book out of God right hand?

Rev 5:1 ¶ And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne a book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals.

Rev 5:2  And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, Who is worthy to open the book, and to loose the seals thereof?

Rev 5:3  And no man in heaven, nor in earth, neither under the earth, was able to open the book, neither to look thereon.

Rev 5:4  And I wept much, because no man was found worthy to open and to read the book, neither to look thereon.

Rev 5:5  And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Juda, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof.

Rev 5:6  And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth.

Rev 5:7  And he came and took the book out of the right hand of him that sat upon the throne.

SOME PEOPLE JUST HATE TO HEAR THE TRUTH IT APPEARS.IN EACH OF THESE {GOD} PROCLAIMS {JESUS} TO BE HIS {SON}.

"And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased" (Matthew 3:17).

"While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him" (Matthew 17:5).

"And there was a cloud that overshadowed them: and a voice came out of the cloud, saying, This is my beloved Son: hear him" (Mark 9:7).

"And there came a voice out of the cloud, saying, This is my beloved Son: hear him" (Luke 9:35).

"For he received from God the Father honour and glory, when there came such a voice to him from the excellent glory, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased" (2Peter 1:17).

HOW IS IT THAT SO MANY PEOPLE CAN OVERLOOK THESE SCRIPTURES SO THAT THEY CAN BELIEVE WHAT THEY WANT TO?
