It was definitely on purpose... I understand the argument that it was a 1-0 game in the 7th inning, but Joba has pinpoint control... I really don't think a ball will get away from him like that.  I don't think he wanted to hit him, but just throw one near his head.

This is getting rather old actually. There is no real history between these two other then the four pitches and the one hard slide. But give me a brake, every pitcher lets a wild ball fly every now and then, so what its the game. If he would have hit him, then I could see a suspension and a hefty fine. Also to all those people who say it was because Youk shouldn't have slide into him... that's baseball. Joba knew it was going to happen when he went to cover the plate, anyone could have seen it.

So please stop the ******* crying already.. both sides.

Even if he was, they're both adult men who can take care of problems themselves. If he wants to throw at Youk, let him. Everyone is blowing this out of proportion. I'm sure the Red Sox will do something and then Yankee fans will be the ones to complain. Stop complaining abuot who throws at who. It's a waste of time. The players will take care of it and it will all be done.

EDIT: Unknown, I know it wasfour times, it is in the quesiton. I'm not stupid. I just think that fans NEED TO STOP COMPLAINING. The players will do what they want. Does it make it rihgt? No, but does comming on Yahoo! Answers to complain make it better? No. Fans need to get over it. You didn't see me complaining when Justin Spier threw at Mark Ellis did you? Exactly. I didn't.

I think he is doing it on purpose and needs to get suspended...if he did it once or twice I might excuse it but every game he faces Youkilis, he throws at him...and most of the time he throws at his head too...I am so sick of that guy...he is just trying to start stuff...I hope the Sox send a message today.
