Joe gave a speech tonight praising veep nominee Palin even though in the past he has supported g*y rights, has voted to ban guns, voted to ban drilling for oil in Alaska, and is pro-choice. He stands for almost everything she doesn't.

  1. Naa... i just think he is getting back at the Dem Party for abandoning him... deep down though his allegiance lies with the dem Party... he clearly still acts like one, and he gave Clinton a well deserved praise in his speech

  2. I do have to wonder what Lieberman is getting in return for handing McCain the state of Florida.

  3. He put America first.

  4. lieberman puts israel first , above everything else.  whoever he thinks will benefit israel the most,  he is with them.

  5. Just another corrupt Washington insider in sheepish clothing.

  6. Frank

The bottom line is simple...He is an american that has free will! Unlike most of the sheep in america who clammer to get on a band wagon, he is exersizing his free will to vote and support who he feels is best suited to lead this country.

I to, a democrate, will follow my free will and vote for McCain this November.

  7. 'He stands for almost everything she doesn't.'

    That's because he isn't a Republican.

  8. Sen. Lieberman is a moderate that knows the Dems have gone way to far to the left. There is a reason he left the Dem. party and became a Ind. he has values and right now the Rep. party is closer to those values then the party he once was a part of.

You are right, he does have a different view of some issues, but he is not a socailist and that is what the Dem. have become.

  9. NOPE, JUST COUNTRY FIRST. WE SHOULD ALL TRY THAT AND BET WE'D FEEL A LOT BETTER ABOUT OUR SELVES!!!

  10. The Democrat Party sold out Joe Liberman and Liberman is sticking it to the Dems for turning their back on him!!!

  11. Joe Lieberman owes the democratic party absolutely nothing - he won his congressional seat as an independent, and tonight he certainly proved convincingly that he's no partisan slave.
