I think he was rude to talk about his life on TV in such a flip manner.  However, celebrities sort of enjoy doing that sort of thing.  As far as his relationship with Jennifer Aniston, I personally don't care for her.  At least what the public persona of her has been.  She may be a nice person but, the way she appears as a celebrity is annoying.  She was overly confident for many years and that caused her problems.  If the tabloids were true about her relationship with Brad Pitt then, she acted like a controlling brat.  She obviously didn't respect their marriage and I feel that she married him for the "points" not for love.  John Mayer is just a guy who broke up with a girlfriend.  He said he broke up before he cheated and that is admirable.  Why should someone stay in a relationship if it is going nowhere?  I think he is smart for leaving.  Nobody should stay in a relationship that they no longer want to be in.  She is obviously a control freak and rude to men.  He needs a more relaxed woman.  He really should stop dating overly famous women because he needs to feel some type of importance in a relationship and that is impossible with this self indulgent narcissistic celebrities.  Good for John

I've heard he is. I too became dissapointed this evening when I found out one of my favorite actors, Joaquin Phoenix, can be rude to his fans. Really changes your opinon of the people if you ask me....I'm kinda bummed out.

From what I read in a magazine this past weekend, he's the type who likes to "kiss and tell" ... so it does at least sound like he could really be a BIG JERK !
