Is John McCain slippin? ?

I heard during the RNC that many in the republican camp were against the Maverick choosing Palin as VP. Seems like, he didnt do a thorough background check, and chose someone with a lotta drama. Is this the kind of judgement we can expect from McCain?

He claims to have been told about Gov. Palin's daughter's situation.  I will take his word on this.  No reason not to.  Sen. McCain, though I disagree with some of his views, is an honorable man.

He has confidence in the American people that they will not hold this against their candidacy.  He may have given Americans too much credit.

From looking at this site, it seems that more Ds are disapproving of her because of the daughter and the Rs.  That is not the Democratic party that I know.

Yes he is, he lost my vote. With all the possible VP picks how did he end up with Palin? Ridge, Huckabee, to many others more qualified to list...Now I have to start looking at 3rd parties to voice my opinion in this election.
