Question:

Is Jr favored to win at Dover?

The media has made him the "favorite" to win at every other race this year, so why not this week?

Surely Carl Edwards & Kyle Busch both having won 3 races a piece this season would not be considered favorites, right?

  1. Jr can be outside the top 35 and having to qualify for each race and he would still be the favorite.  Get over it.  This year Jr is leading, running up front, in a position to win but just not getting it done.

  2. Well he is always my favorite to win every week.

  3. well you know he will be one of the top 3 at least, i wish the media would shut up about him untill he does something worth talkin about. wouldnt you love to hear kyle bush thank his sponsers his team and then hendrix for firing him.

  4. He is a fan favorite and yes wants a win badly, he has been running consistently all year (better than Gordon and Johnson) but its anyone race, there are 43 drivers hungry for wins too!

Kyle actually is top pick to win along with Edwards so come Sunday..lets go racing and let the drivers take to the track and us enjoy rather than bicker back and forth..that is why we are FANS!!!

  5. I said this two weeks ago and I'm sticking with it...Jr's best shot at a win is now, @ Dover.  If it doesn't happen this weekend, I don't look for him to have a 'better chance than not' until we get back to Daytona in July.  The June tracks just aren't good tracks for him.

  6. Right now, Kyle Busch is the favorite to win at every track, in every race he races in. Dover is a track you have to man handel your race car and Kyle Busch is the man at that. So Busch is the favorite. Dale Jr. has to learn how to finish a race without getting caught in some kind of trouble.

  7. i agree, let's make all three of them the favorites to win this week at dover, along with about seven others. then we can start making top ten lists... ;-)

(boy i hope someone remembers to ask THAT question a dozen times this week ;-)

  8. Should he not be one of the favorites? Look at his track record this year.

12 starts, 9 of them were top 10's, one 12th, and he was wrecked by other drivers in the other two races while solidly in the top 10.

    3rd in points

He has ran up front and led almost every race so far this season.

Why are some people so miserable that all they have to do is make up one driver hate question after another? The facts are the facts, accept them.

  9. Currently I'm pulling for him to become the first in the "post-modern era" to win a Cup without ever getting a win.

Lead a lap every race in the Chase and finish top 5, it can be done. The Point System still rewards consistancy.

And of course he will be a favorite to win Dover.

  10. Probably so, even though the losing streak continues!!!!!

  11. Dont worry by the time DW gets there he will be favored.

  12. Miss "T" you are in denial. The fans have made him the favorite to win. Your hate for Dale Jr want's to blame it on the media.

You can't destroy him no other way? Hmmm...

  13. Episode 75: Loss at Dover.

Tune in to watch Dale Jr. come so close to winning, and then get beat once again, despite having 1:1 odds to win.

    Can't wait to watch it

  14. Dale Jr. has been running up front every week but to be considered a favorite over Kyle Busch and Carl Edwards would be wrong.
