yes, he's a definite clutch player!! like he gave the angels that cushion today!

i do like having him in the lineup, as for GMJ... i can tell he wants to contribute really badly.. but i think MS might put him in for defense because he is better defensively than rivera

anyways, rivera's a good player!

It's good to see him back.  He's been one of my favorite underrated players for about 7 years now.  I thought that his broken leg might have cheated him out of the prime of his career.

Yeah, bench Matthews.  He is a classic example of a guy who can't hit anymore after he got busted for HGH.

But back to Rivera, he always has a really torrid 3 to 4 week stretch towards the end of summer.  Protypical 2nd half player.

And his arm is a freakin' cannon.
