  1. As far as all the outrageous claims made by people who sell it, NO, it has never been proven to "cure" anything or to do anything at all.  And as far as being "FDA approved", a few months ago, the Center for Science in the Public Interest actually published a report advising the FDA to ban Juice Plus because of the outrageous claims being made by those who promote it, and also because it is now what it says it is.  It DOES have vitamins added, and it does not have much real fruit at all.

  2. Absolutely not for either of them.

To be honest, we're not sure about the research because they actually haven't done any research. From the look of things they just took every trashy medical blurb out of a daily newspaper an threw the ingredients into a single drink without any understanding of how the body works.

  3. Yes, it is FDA approved. Nevertheless, so much of other rubbish is too.

None of those "miracle juices" is what the producers are trying to prove. Especially ones cramped into little pill.                                                                                               Specific criticisms of Juice Plus include: the product is marketing being unsupported by research data, the product contains too little fruit and vegetable powder to offer significant clinical benefits, concerns that the effects can be attributed to the inclusion of added exogenous vitamins and micronutrients, and complaints that the products are excessively priced relative to their potential benefits.

“No matter how compressed these capsules are, or what they contain, it’s impossible to deliver the nutrients of five to ten servings of fruits and vegetables in several capsules weighing 800 to 850 milligrams (about one-thirtieth of an ounce) each. It would take two dozen 800-milligram capsules just to provide all the nutrients in six ounces of carrot juice”.
