  3. no! even the sides like corn on the cob has fake butter on it, the chicken is ok if you get the grilled not the fried, but over all i wouldnt count on eating a diet of kfc to keep you fit!

    although you will have a very very tasty trip to fatsville!

    i love kfc! but my *** does not!

  8. Yes...depending on what you order.  KFC sells healthy items.  Breading on the chicken has similar amounts of carbs as the bread on a Big Mac or the Whopper.

    Fast food is OK depending on what and how much you eat!

  9. generally no. most of what KFC serves is covered in grease or lard and is cooked with fillers and preservatives. there may be a few healthy options hidden somewhere on the menu but as a rule fried chicken, mashed potatoes, and biscuits are not healthy options and you should not base your diet on fastfood.

    Today nutritionists don't talk much about "balance" or the "basic four".  The modern concept is the food pyramid with lots of grain and vegetables on the base with much less meat and fat on the top.

    KFC (they used to call it "Kentucky FRIED Chicken") serves more fat and poultry; very little grain or vegetable.

  12. I didn't know how to answer this, and I can only suggest that when dining out, choose your selections carefully. Listed are some web sites on  nutrition for KFC.

        Extra crispy has more calories than original, as it's just the skin is more deep fried.

      Fried Chicken b*****s has less calories than a whopper sandwich, but salt content may be an issue.

    Try also the grilled chicken breast sandwich, but with out all the mayo, with more lettuce, tomato, onions.

    Skinless is your better option.
