Is Kai Tak really going to be re-opened or is it just a rumor?

I've heard it on Wikipedia that they're going to build a new terminal there. I personally don't believe it but I do want it to happen.

It would be difficult to believe.  Last time I was in Hong Kong, I counted 14 tower cranes erecting high-rise buildings in the old flight path!

i really doubt it as it was closed as it is a really hazardous approach as it required a steep approach, with a steep turn near terrain, a recipe for disaster.

I think there just going to put housing there or make it a shipping cruise port, no flights
