Looks like typical Rovian strategy for republicans- major on the minors. It's not about issues, it's about baby Jesus.

  1. Yes.  That was his plan.

  2. Rove would like it better if it was about important issues like flag burning and g*y marriage.

  3. Karl Rove school of politics avoid the real issues of defending Bush and go after the social issues.  They did in 2004 and don't fall for the trick in 2008.

  4. Their base understands teen pregnancy, Nascar, hunting and fishing and Jesus.  Economy, energy challenges, and war strategy not so much.  We can talk all we want but McCain/Palin bumper stickers are going up just below the gun racks on the back of pick ups in trailor parks across the bible belt as we speak.

  5. Jesus is voting for McCain, but his mother is voting for Obama.

  6. Well you liberals are the ones who have made it the issue by harping on Sarah Palins daughter.

Big deal-the girl got pregnant. **** happens.

Now if she had gotten pregnant and then laid back and shoved a coathanger up there like a lib chick would do then you might have something, but since she is a republican she will take responsibility for her actions.

  7. KArl rove was a genius the way the 2004 election was won. but with no anti g*y marriage referendums in battleground states, you're going to find the limits of genius.

  8. Yes.

  9. It only works with a small percentage of the right wing. Most in the right are concerned more with the economy, war, and energy.

  10. And the market is about to break the 10,000 plateau once again.

    Happy days are here again.

  11. You're judging the amount of "talk" based on Yahoo! Answers, not on what people are really saying on the streets.  People are much more concerned about where it hurts right now--and where it hurts is their wallets.
