March is a long way away in horse racing terms.today the great Alderbrook was put down,he won the champion hurdle as a novice(had 1 run  before the event)and I was one of the lucky ones who believed his trainer,Kim Bailey and backed him at 50-1 .so the short answer is lets see who enters.

katchit ran a good race the other day giving weight away but at around 5/1 there is no value there . watch out for detroit city who will improve on last season and the 16/1 looks value

a few comments on ante post betting. It used to be good to be able to back a horse at good odds and then stand or fall. If you were good, you made a good profit, if it got withdrawn etc, you lost.

The modern facility to be able to supplement a horse at the last minute makes a mockery of it so nowadays it is not worth backing ante post.!

thats right it depends whats entered and iam not a great anti post lover maybe 2 to 3 weeks but certainly not 4 months away be a great question to ask in feb.
