Is Kavos really as bad as they say it is?!?

OK, so my parents booked up to go to Kavos in Corfu yesterday. We fly out on the 28th july, and are there for a week. I'm scared...read quite bad reviews about it, how it is a dump, smelly, full of thugs, dirty beach. Are there many families that go? If not, I'm going to feel rather awkward with my parents- as I'm 18 and my sis is 16! Please someone tell me it isn't as bad as they say it is...

It's been ruined by British lager louts. More popular with 18- 30 wild holidays. Why didn't your parents do their homework! I wouldn't want my 16 yr old there! If it's that bad - get the rep to change the hotel/resort. If the place does not live up to the description in the brochure you can complain. Personally I would cancel and go elsewhere in Corfu.

It is as Asimenia says and some times even worse. Mostly by British 18-30 extremely wild holiday -makers. And surely your parents did not do their best.

For family vacationers other spots in Corfu will be considered more appropriate.

Since time limit is rather short you can always make the best of it of staying away from trouble.
