Is Kazakhstan a Asian country or a European country? ?

When i was watching the Olympics (Kazakhstan Olympians) , i saw some European people and some Chinese/Asian people that were representing for Kazakhstan. Does this country have both? Sorry, im was just curious.

  7. Kazakhstan is a country that geographically belongs to Asia, not Europe, but it's population is mixed and that's why you saw both European and Asian people.

    On the point, 60% Kazakhs [Asians], 25% Russians [Europeans] and 15% other ethnic groups [both].
