  4. Kazakhstan has a unique geographical position.

    Generally it is considered that Ural river and Ural Mount range divides europe and Asia, so western part of Kazakhstan rests in Europe and all the rest in Asia. There is a city in Kazakhstan half of which lies in Asia , another in Europe, the parts of the city are connected with a bridge over the river Ural.

    There is also a general term for the whole region where most of the central asian countries and russia are located, geopolitically the region is called Eurasia.
