It's gotta be pretty bad when the fanboy Tommy Hutton is talking down on you (no offense, Tommy, but you are kinda biased).

Kevin Gregg blows yet another save. Had I not given up on the Marlins having a post season, I'd be pretty furious. But since I already have, I just love to laugh at him.

From now on, when he comes out of the bullpen, he should walk out to Jimi Hendrix's "Wild Thing." (a joke for the movie fans out there)

And who else is to blame? Fredi Gonzales. How many times do you have to plant your open hand onto a scorching skillet to know that it's hot? Learn from your mistakes, bub!

I cant disagree with you completely, but I can differ.  Look at the Cardinals, overall a pretty good offensive team but their bullpen has blown over 30 save opportunities.  Most namely 3 of the 4 to the all important series with the brewers in late July.  Had it not been for Ryan Franklin, and Jason Isringhausen and a few other guys that nobody has ever heard of STL could very easily be in the NL Wild Card slot comfortably, if not the NL Central lead or lead the NL overall.  So after having a decent shot of making the postseason at the All Star break, believe me, i feel your pain.  RIP 2008 Playoff Chances, there's always next year to blow it.
