Knott's has seriously gone downhill since Cedar Fair took over the park. Sure they may have some new good coasters like Xcelerator and Silver Bullet. The charm of the park, guest service, and overall look at seriously diminished.

I am a hardcore coaster enthusiast, and would rather spend at Disneyland over Knott's any day. In fact, I do. I even have a Knott's annual pass. I sometimes hop over to Knott's on the way to Disneyland, but can only stand it for a couple of hours. The ride operations are slow, the employees would rather be somewhere else, and the park just feels generic now, although I am happy they still have their true gems---Timber Mountain Log Ride, Calico Mine Train, and Montezooma's Revenge. Ghostrider was once one of the best coasters anywhere, now plagued with roughness.

Disneyland still feels excited and fun, even when it is busy. The place has 7 MUST DO rides --- Space Mountain, Matterhorn, Big Thunder, Indiana Jones, Pirates, Haunted Mansion, and Splash Mountain. They c**p all over anything at Knott's. I prefer a sense of adventure at DL over an ordinary park experience at Knott's.

I guess it really depends on what you like, but in my book Disneyland beats Knott's Berry Farm hands down.  The big thing about Disneyland is the atmosphere.  They go to great pains to make it a truly magical place, right down to the smallest detail.  I also like Disneyland because it has something for everybody in terms of rides, attractions, shows, shops, etc.

I think that Disneyland is way better than Knotts berry farm. Reasons 1. Disneyland has way more rides than Knotts berry farm. 2. Disneyland has better food than Knotts berry farm. 3. You would have more fun at Disneyland than Knotts berry farm.
