MJ was an amzing defensive player, while Kobe plays defensive seemingly when he wants. MJ could practically score whenever he wanted in an era that was considerably tougher and Kobe got stopped by Paul Peirce and The Celtics. MJ had much better chemistry with his supporting cast and management, while Kobe demanded to be traded. So, to sum that up, no.
