Is Kyle Busch hated as much as Earnhardt Sr was hated?

I'm just wondering back in the 80s and 90s Earnhardt was the driver so many people loved to hate. It seems Rowdy has assumed that role nowadays. Anyone else see the similarity?

I would not call it hate  so much as it was jealousy. He earned the respect thru many years of  kikkin  a**. I dont see any similarty to busch. All I see is a streak of luck, only time wll tell. THERE IS ONLY ONE I  N  T  I  M  I  D  A  T  O  R!!!!!!!!!!

Busch is hated, but he's not as good as Earnhardt. Plus, Earnhardt is a legend, Busch is a pain.

Why would say Sr. was hated, mayby some of his peers on the track had some issues at times, but Srs. presants at the track was great for nascar.

Kyle can not be compared to Sr. He is every drivers nightmare when they know he is coming and they better get out of his way or will be moved into wall or other cars.

Sr. drove to he was 49. Kyle will be lucky to last another 2 years with his recless driving and bad attitude, although he seems to be picking up more fans, so guess he is a nascar marketting tool.

I hate Kyle indescribably more than Dale Sr. but i was not a Sr fan only because Sr and Terry Labonte were rivals for a while and im a big Labonte fan

Sr was hated by many even though some have answered, who could hate Sr.  He may have been a NASCAR legend, but he was hated. The people who hate on Kyle are mostly Jr fans cause Kyle is taking the spotlight away from Jr & is winning more

You can tell Britt up there is a youngun.   Earnhart Sr. was a legend, but he was also hated for many many years in nascar.  Honestly, he gained way more fans post mortem than he ever had in life.  Kyle may be more hated this season than Dale ever was in one season, but Earnhart had many years of....Kyle will have to win a bunch of cups to catch up on that.   The ironic thing is....Kyle is hated mainly because he did to Jr what Sr did many times in his career.  Actually, watching the replay, I really don't think kyle intended to wreck jr at all....jr was trying to keep him from passing by moving down the track.   Sr would have wrecked someone intentionally 150 feet sooner.
