Is LAX a good airport

I am flying out of LAX this week and i am flying alone i was wondering if LAX was a protective and safe airport.

It is safe, but very busy and big, so follow the signs carefully or ask directions. I also will be flying to Lax soon.

LAX is pretty safe.  Of course you will need to use some common sense as well such as not leaving your personal items unattended while you go to the bathroom or go buy some food.  But passengers should be pretty safe since only ticketed passengers are allowed past security.

I always feel safe at LAX but i hate how busy it is. There are so many people going in and out traffic is crazy. Most recently i have flown out of gates for Midwest airlines and the waiting area was soooooo cold i had to wear my big jacket. They don't have free wifi and there are long was to walk from check-in to the waiting area. The food is mediocre in the waiting area, esp for vegetarians.

As far as safety which again was your question once you are inside there will be many passengers and staff checking you in and the luggage security guards are near by with not much to do, so i wouldn't worry.

It is safe, but it is not a good airport (by Asian standard), in fact it sucks a lot.. long queue here and there, not much service around, confusing process, waiting room sucks, nothing is free there, tight-**** security.

For international flight: you may want to leave yourself 3hours before flight. For domestic is faster
