Is LCD a form of HD television? If it is, there is more.?

On my Xbox 360 it comes with the Audio/Video cord, and it has the High Definition jacks to put into the telivision. The television has the ports on the side for the HD jacks. I turn on my xbox, and put the tv on the channel that plays the xbox, dvds, etc... and on one it plays sound but no video and on the other it plays video but no sound. It is switched to HDTV on the Audio/Video cord. The graphics still look pretty good, but if it is HD, why not try to get HD Xbox 360 graphics.

There's a switch on the cable itself that switched between HD and normal.  Make sure you have it set right or you won't get any video.
