Is LG Shine just a virgin mobile or... ?

Question

...can you use other sim cards such as orange?

I have an orange sim card that i would rather use in my LG Shine (when im currently using a virgin sim card) but when i insert the orange sim card and turn my phone on it comes up with Please Insert Right Sim....?

Please help? Is there any way i can use the orange sim card?

Well in the US Virgin carries c**p phones that are sold at Wal Mart and the Shine is for the nickel and dime everything AT&T, but if you are talking about a Prepaid phone it should work.  Assuming both Virgin and Orange use GSM...  but you may need an unlock code if Virgin ties their phones to their network. (These can be found online)

Hey hun the reason why it wont accept your orange sim is that the phone is locked to virgin so contact virgin and ask them to unlocked it (they might ask you to pay a fee if you have not had it too long) and when you unlock it you will be able to use your orange sim
