Question:

Is LT worthy of #1 again?

He almost seemed on the decline last year and on top of that his production dropped (which you would expect from the previous year to a point but it was still pretty significant). If not then who?

  1. Even LT on a bad year is better then the rest of the top 5.  His line should be more secured and the passing game will open up this year which will benefit him.

  2. Yes, LT is still #1 Adrian is close but is to injury prone, to say he should go #1 he has the talent but he doesnt have the history LT does, he has missed 1 game in 4 years

  3. No and he's dodged the question about why he didn't come back in the game, and his feelings are hurt.  I'd pick him after 15, when his QB is hurt, they'll clog up the line again and shut him down.

  4. np go with Adrian Peterson.

  5. Yes he is. His production did drop, but he still led the league in rushing yards and rushing tds. Plus Michael Turner is gone so LT will have the entire load to himself. So a declining LT is still better than the rest of the RBs.

  6. My top is

    LT

    AP

  7. LT is still the closest thing to a sure bet as there is.

Adrian Peterson has great upside, but an unsettled QB position, and he did not even finish his rookie campaign.  He left a lot of fantasy managers dead in the water in the playoffs.

LT is not going to do 25+ touchdowns, but he will once again be at or near the top.   He's got pretty "low mileage" from not playing in the preseason, and limited carries compared to backs like Larry Johnson.

The "X" factor with LT is his receiving.  Even on days when he's not getting carries, he'll catch 8 or more passes out of the backfield, and do great things.  In a Points per Reception League, he is a goldmine.  (As are Brian Westbrook, and Steven Jackson by the way...)

There are very few true FEATURE backs in the league.  Technically, AP is a timeshare or platoon back.

Only leagues with freaky settings that heavily favor a quarterback could consider Tom Brady.  The drop-off at QB isn't as steep as it is at running back.

Check your settings, and draft LT with confidence.
