Is Landry's Seafood a good place to wait tables?

Question

I am suppose to be starting soon and was wondering how it was working there and what kind of money to expect. This one is in Branson, MO so it is a tourist destination. I also work for Kohls in the mornings in freight.

I love going to Landry's... (when we can afford it of course) .... Waiting table in such a "upscale" restaurant takes a lot of work... besides knowing the dishes that they serve, you will probably have to learn what wine/beverage pairs well with a certain dish!!

If I ordered the Red Snapper, a glass (or bottle..hehe) of Pinot Gris, or Chablis would go great..... if you offered me a Provencal Rose or Pinot Noir... hummm those go will with Grilled Salmon!!

Just thought that you would like to know... Many restaurants that do have a wide range of options, I would hope will train you.... if you are willing to learn!!

You probably won't see more than 10 an hour.  Its fine..alot better than the unemployment line.
