Is Legally Blonde a good musical?

Judging by the soundtrack most of the songs seem pretty corny, but I also think the Xanadu soundtrack is corny but the show was pretty good. Is the legally blonde show good and worth the money?

The songs are "corny" in the same way the movie is "corny".  It's lighthearted and the characters are supposed to be silly.  But let me tell you, the writing and acting is soooo intelligently done even if the characters are not the most intelligent!  They did a brilliant job adapting a really fun movie into an effective stage show.  And Laura Bell Bundy is incredible.  She nails the part and owns the role and the show.  I worked with her briefly once and she's very hardworking and warm hearted.  SEE IT... its a great feel-good show!! :)

It was actually on TV not too long ago.  I was really surprised, because it's still playing on Broadway and they showed the whole thing on TV.

It was OK.  Not great.  The songs are corny. Nothing you'll remember later. It's not a brilliant musical by any stretch.  

If I was going to pay for tickets to something, I'd go see something else.

the musical has been filmed and aired on MTV severeal times.  if you do not want to spend the money you can look for the next showing on mtv.
