Is Lending Tree a good company?

Question

I just did an application Lendingtree but after reading numerous reports about how bad their service is, I am starting to get worried? Has anyone used LendingTree before?

i do not have any credit issues.  I have excellent credit and thought it would be a competitive way to find the best rates. Now im hearing really bad things and am afraid they will mess with my credit if i try to cancel
