Is Liberty Mutual a good reputable car insurance company?

Question

If you know anyone that has them..or heard stories..or if you have them please let me know some things about them..pros,cons. Geico is quoting me $3500 for 6 months..I got a new car and Libery Mutual is quoting me $2000 for a year..so that's pretty good I really want to switch but I dont know anything about them. All advice open...

There's plenty more in Google, always take plenty of quotes before settling down, chances are the cheapest is the very last one you come across. They are free anyway so you might as well spend a couple of days on it.

Progressive was the cheapest for me.  Personally majority of insurance companies are good, most people just don't have a good feeling towards them because they don't understand their coverage.  Whoever you decide to go with make sure you know what  you're covered for before you make a decision.  You may have a $1000 quote for less but maybe you're losing coverage and you don't realize it.

I think it's really different for everyone. That's why it is so important that you get multiple quotes like you did.

I use Geico because they gave me the cheapest rate, $140 a month for an 08 Civic.  I got a quote from Liberty Mutual and they quoted me $300 a month for the same car.  I thought that was outrageous since I have a perfect driving record, so I didn't get a very good impression of them.

I would also check with state farm. I've been with them for 15 years and have never had a problem. They are always willing to help in any way they can.
