That's what those (I won't point a finger at a certain religious group) get for electing him when he lost the Democratic nomination for senator in his district.

He would have been a perfect choice for VP to McCain.

But McCain realized that people used their tax stimulus to purchase HDTV sets, and so he needed a looker for the home audiences.

A McCain/Lieberman ticket would have reeked of OLD f**t on the nation's shiny new HDTV sets.

Wait..you are saying all of the jewish people in CT voted him in?  You realize that there aren't that many jewish voters in CT to elect him.  There were a number of non-jewish voters who voted for him as well.  The Dems didn't support him in that election and he paid them back by winning as an Independent.  They have nobody to blame but themselves.../
