  1. try Cova da Moura and Buraca, in Amadora part of Lisbon, its nice and quiet in there and good jobs otherwise Quinta da Fonte in the Loures area of Lisbon is quite good too

  2. Hi! Yes, it is, it´s a great place to live, it´s not very polluted and it´s a beautiful city, the wheater is nice, beaches are nor far, people are nice, the food is great, I could go on (I´m portuguese and a lisboeta). About finding a job that could be a problem if you don´t speak portuguese I really can´t see where just in Algarve in something related to english tourism, otherwise is not easy or posible I believe. Good luck and take care!!!

  3. Lisbon is a great city, many people speak english, but to work there it would be better to learn portugese.

  4. I work in Lisbon, and i am portuguese, and for me, i don't like to live in Lisbon, i rather live in a small town. But that depends on yo, you might like it, about jobs, things are a bit hard right now for employment, i advice you to look in the euopean site jobs to see what chances you have and your boyfriend to find a job, you might get a job teaching english??or some companies are really english, just don't come without any perspective, you might get disapointed. Also if you don't speak portuguese it will be hard for you to adapt, people are not very patient to make you understand things lol...good luck!

  5. Yes if you like big cities, the language can be a problem. did you ever think of going to Algarve? beaches, better weather and chances of a job because there's a lot of British owned business, think about it.

    good luck
