    they are owned by French publisher Hachette Livre and now are run in the states by Hachette Livre's U.S. publishing company, Hachette Book Group USA.

    Lagardere  Group owns Lagardère Media which owns Hachette Livre.

    Lagardere Groupe is probably traded in Europe...

    Hachette Book Group USA was formed when Hachette Livre purchased the Time Warner Book Group from Time Warner on March 31, 2006.

    HBG is able to use the Warner Books moniker through 2011, although HBG is not itself affiliated with Time Warner. Because of this, HBG announced on March 26, 2007, that Warner Books had been renamed Grand Central Publishing.
