  1. I still prefer it on boys rather than a girl. And I would go with Logan Nathaniel, since that's one of my favorite names.

  2. I have not heard it as a girls name yet! I cannot imagine it becoming really popular for girls, as it sounds so masculine. I really like it and I like Logan Alexander best!

  3. Logan is a boys name

Logan was rank 17 out of the top 1000 boys names, last year

Logan was rank 455, out of the top 1000 girls name, last year

Logan is much more common in boys

I like Logan Alexander the best

Logan is a good solid boys names

  4. I think Logan is a great boy's name. I know a few Logans, but I've never heard of a female named Logan. (I guess it could have been like a middle name, like sometimes people will put their grandmother's last name or whatever as their middle name...)

So, I consider this as a boy's name. (Yes, I'm just a teenager, but this topic caught my eye because I have never seen Logan as a girl's name.)

  5. Logan Joshua sounds really good. I still find it surprising that it parents would even consider that name for their daughter! It'd be perfect for your son.

  6. No its a good name

  7. Its really hard for me to wrap my head around the idea of Logan as a girl's name. What's next? Naming girls Clark? Larch? Butch? (I bet that one's been done.) John?

Hey, I guess time marches on, and I could be way behind the times, but Logan as a unisex name? Pffft, yeah right. But hey, I could live to see the next teenage pop s*x symbol sporting a name like "the Duke" wearing chaps and smoking cigars. The Duke is only her stage name though, I'm sure her real name would be something like Arnold or Jesse.

    edit:

I thought of another one, Bruce. That'll be fun to see on your tiny waitresses nametag. It kind of reminds me of the big black "social worker" from Lilo and Stitch, named Bubbles.

    "that's a strange name for... " "Yes, I know."

  8. I like Logan, and tbh only consider it as a boys name. If it's what you like then go for it. I like Logan Alexander.

  9. I have only heard it used for boys. I love Logan Alexander.

  10. I've never heard it as a girls name.

  11. Is it unisex?

I've never heard of girl named Logan. Of course, where I live parents usually name their kids normally.

  12. i dont think is unisex

    Logan Alexander

  13. My son (now 16) is named Logan Zachariah.

He loves his name and so do I :)  Funny we were just talking about this the other day  (he wanted to know where he got his name from).

He doesn't get teased about it and the only nick names that has ever come along over the years are from his younger sisters (yogan, yogi, & yogi bear), but that's a just from a little one learning how to talk, none of them stuck.

I have run into one or two girls named Logan over the years, but many more boys.

  14. I was actually at the park yesterday with my stepson and there was a little girl there named Logan, which really surprised me because I only considered it as a boys name.......I like Logan Nathaniel...go for it! It's a great name! =)

  15. Ive never heard of a little girl named Logan, i immediately think of a little boy.

im due in october and my little boy will be called Nathaniel so thats my ultimate favourite but Logan Joshua works really well together :)

  16. No. Logan Alexander I would go with.

  17. I only like it for a boys name. I've never heard it for a girl...

  18. Very cool name for both. So what if it's unisex, unless he falls for someone with the same name :-p!

I think it's very sweet and i like Logan Alexander best.

  19. I love Logan as a boy or girl name.  In fact my sister and her fiance have decided to name their future child Logan Lynn regardless of the s*x.  Logan is his middle name and Lynn is hers (and her fathers and her future mother in laws).  So the name has a lot of meaning and I think it's cute either way.  They prefer it as a boys name though.

  20. Actually, I never knew Logan could be a girl's name. I always thought of it more as a masculine name, so it should be fine.

  21. Logan in my opinion is a better sur name and not a good first name for any one!!

its just too girly for a boy and too lame for a girl, just my opinion.keep it real, good luck!

  22. I know a girl named Logan, but I still kinda think it's a boy's name. I like Logan Nathaniel best!

  23. I like it as a boys name. However, there was a guy at school with me named Logan ... he got reemed for it. He ended up going by Joshua (oddly enough)
