He was on the world stage, in front of billions of people, and he looked very unkempt.....messy hair, unbuttoned jacket, hands in his pockets......Geezus .....What a representative!

That image made him like a thinker or philosopher. But that image covered his racist image. Even the Song by British singer mentioned the discrimination.

Perhaps, the Olympic would like to save England from its practice of discrimination.

I think the whole of the UK was cringing (I was lol)...

Scruffy hair, short trousers, discoloured suit, unbuttoned blazer, playing pocket pool, punching the flies, waving like he's still campaigning for mayor and racing up the stairs two steps at a time - I think he got caught up with the excitement of the British gold medals haul.

I couldn't agree more! I too though "My God" when he walked out. I loved the shot of Princess Margaret just after he walked out, with the binoculars looking on and probably thinking to herself the same thing..."My God". Whether he is an effective Mayor or not, shouldn't there be staff to look after him in these sought of situations? "Sir, I recommend keeping your jacket buttoned for the stroll". Very professional...not!

Hey, by the time Olympics come 2012 Britain will be broke, but that's OK 'cos with Boris we can do it on the cheap. The world will just be gob smacked by a guy like him and forget the opening ceremony etc. will probably only cost about £2 !!!
