  1. Heathrow is closer to Wembley than Gatwick.

If you click on this link (Wembley Stadium website) there are directions on how to get to Wembley from all London airports.

    All the best!

  2. NO.

London Gatwick airport is in Middlesex which isn't actually in London at all.  According to www.nationalrail.co.uk it will take about 1 hour and 10 minutes to travel.  You can change from Gatwick at Harrow and Wealdstone for a train to Wembley Central.

  3. London Gatwick Airport is in Sussex. If you want to go to Wembley fly to heathrow and you can catch the tube from there (Piccadilly line) and change for wembley

  4. Heathrow is nearer - but Gatwick isnt too bad! - We were lucky to stay here (http://www.ramadajarvis.co.uk/gatwick) the night before the FA Cup Final - we made it up to wembely the next day in about 1hr 15mins.

  5. Crikey NO

  6. Sorry but it's nowhere near it... LGW is South of London and Wembley Stadium is in north west London.

It's not too hard to get there though, from Gatwick get a First Capital Connect train direcct to West Hampstead Station.  They go about every 15 mins and the journey would take about 45 mins.  When you get to West Hampstead, turn right out of the station, walk about 100m down the road, and you'll be at West Hampstead Underground station.  Jump on a Jubilee line train northbound, and Wembley is about five stops and fifteen minutes away.

    Good luck!

  7. It took me a good 1-1/2 hours (give or take a few minutes) to get from Gatwick to that part of the Met line. I took the Gatwick Express, then went from Victoria to Baker Street and then too the fast train on the Met line (my intended destination was Chesham :P). You can also take the Jubilee line.

But no, it's not really near ...

  8. No.

  9. It's almost 50 miles away

  10. No it's not at all near. If you're flying in to London and want to go to Wembley you should go to Heathrow instead it's much closer. Wembley is quite difficult to get to though even on public transport and traffic is very heavy in that part of London.
