Not up to the quality of Chanel, Dior, Nars, and some of the other top brands, but it's not down there with the like of Maybelline.  They do great advertisng to pull you in.  They have great intersting colors, but I didn't like the feel of it on my face after I had it done in a Department store.

MAC makeup is great - but, you really need a good salesperson or makeup artist to set you up with what matches your skin tones.  Often, the artists/salespeople are told what to push on people.  So you have to be careful and not get sucked in.

i think mac is great. i haven't tried any other place because i love mac. they know what there doing plus they have a broader variety

My girlfriend spends a lot of money shopping, especially on makeup, at least $500.00 per week.  I end up paying for most of it and get bills from Macy's, Nordstroms, Neiman Marcus, Sephora, Dillards, & majority MAC.  Whenevr she schedules appointments she goes w MAC first, she says they have a larger variety and greater quality makeup.  Hope that helps

Yes, I've heard their makeup is amazing. The quality is great, but be prepared for a higher price than most drug store brands of makeup. Most people who use it say it's well worth the $$$ though. Macy's is one good place to get your makeup done using MAC products.

Great place, but be careful that they don't overload your face with too much makeup, thus making you look like a totally different person!

2) Very reasonable prices for dept store makeup

3) The makeup artists are usually pretty well trained.

4) Stay away from the TRANNYS!!!
