I travel to Atlanta for business, and let me tell you, its much easier to hop on Marta at Hartsfield and ride it into the city than it is to rent a car and then fight traffic Northward, only to face it for the trip back to the airport.

I'd have to say yes, it is Smarta, plus I like the new Smart cards.  Better slipping on of those in my wallet than a fare token that usually gets lost.
