  1. MP3 is a type of file format in the computer which is used for music files. e.g. you run a song from a cd in a CD player. Likewise, you play an MP3 in a computer.

  2. NO

MP3 is a file format used to encode music.

Perhaps you mean MP3 player? That is an appliance.

My most useful appliances are my PC, my auto, my refrigerator, my TV.

Why? because (PC) I use it to answer idiotic questions, (auto) to get around, (refrigerator) store food, (TV) watch ball games.

    .

  3. I think that usually electrical is different from electronic.

The first runs on household electricity, the second is digital.

So electrical appliances would be things like: oven, refrigerator, toaster, dryer, etc....

Electronic would be: mp3 player, digital cell phone, etc...

    bye for now.

  4. Sounds like it to me.

If you ask, maybe you already suspect that your IPOD is not what they wanted.

Certainly sounds like an electrical appliance to me, but I suspect I have no authority over your teacher.
