Is MTV's "My Super Sweet 16" acted?

unfortunately it is real. those kids are exactly how you see them. and sadly they think they are god's gift to the world. i can't stand those kids. and i'm sorry but what kind of parent rewards their kids with $100,000 birthday parties when they are being a total a**-hole. especially the ones who talk back to their parents. what kind of morals are these kids being taught? 'sigh'. i'm not saying all rich kids are brats. when "my super sweet 16" first aired those kidss were not nearly as horrible. some were actually nice kids. but mtv sure did a good job finding bratty kids.

NOPE. They may have re-enacted one or two scenes, but most of it is real. MTV really attempts to make these girls look terrible, because not all of them are REALLY like that, they just edit it to look like they are spoiled and bratty.

Lacy (from Ohio) had one on the show and shes from my town and my brother and sister knew her personally and went to her party.

The parties are NOT that great. There's a lot of waiting around and doing nothing between events.

no I Don't think so seen as the student live in big expensive houses and they would have to pay for the performances of the singers and rappers, who would have to come a long way to see some child. Remember the episode witRhiannana, she wasn't at all enthusiastic with comming to that young boys party.

Not all rich people are like that. The rich people I know don't flaunt their wealth- if you didn't know about their job you would think they are middle class. Most of the time people who are over extravagant are either:

  a) People who clearly don't have that type of income to support their spending ways which will lead them to debt and a "tearfuappearancence on Oprah saying that they can’t help themselves pft!

b) People who are complete morons who do have that income and don't have anything better to do w/ their lives than spending money on useless c**p.
