In this "Green" friendly age, is Magic Jack green friendly?

  1. In general, I would say YES!

    If you need to add a powered USB expander, that would have to be plugged in.  But, that's probably the exception, not the rule.

    If a computer goes into power-saving mode, then it may not answer.  But when that happens, you get an voice-mail email with a .wav recording.  The monitor could turn off (or screen set to go off) if there is a period of inactivity.  Monitors use the most power.  Some use a pc for it without any screen at all!  

    Of course, you might find someone with a different opinion...

    The above site has lots of good info about the Magic Jack, but whether it is Eco-Friendly or not is not covered.  Perhaps it should be, as your question is indeed important for many.  (That would be a great question for the inventor to answer!)
