  2. Charmingly so.

    The Martini has evolved as has the Margarita (high-end Tequila wasted in a mixed drink - Ha!), but the good ol' Mai Tai remains true to it's original inception.

  3. To be honest, I would never order one at a trendy bar (unless they had a specialty one on their drink menu) but it's fun to order at dives, Chinese restaurants, the bowling alley...

  6. No more so than a Margarita or a Martini.  Let's see, Martini is very fashionable now - yet 10 years ago it wasn't.  

    For me, Mai Tai and Chinese food go together like a pizza and beer.

  8. It's been around a long time, but they taste good.  It's not a rob roy, where you only see senior citizens drinking them.  They are not old fashioned.

  11. It's certainly been around for a while, but throwing in a new ingredient like pomegranate juice would put a new twist on an old favourite.
